What is carbon monoxide poisoning?
If you’ve suffered from CO poisoning and it wasn’t your fault you could be entitled to compensation. Poisoning can have short term and long term effects and the symptoms and illnesses that could develop can lead to pain, distress, financial losses and in some rare cases death.
According to the Occupational Safety & Health Administration Carbon Monoxide (CO) is a poisonous, colourless, odourless and tasteless gas which is toxic to humans. CO is produced from the partial oxidation of carbon-containing compounds, and forms when there is a lack of Oxygen needed to produce Carbon Dioxide. CO can be produced in the natural environment within the atmosphere also from volcanoes, forest fires and animal metabolisms.
